Replacing missing teeth naturally and functionally
An implant can take over the function of an artificial tooth root and form the basis for a fixed dental restoration. Individual crowns, bridges, or larger restorations can be attached to it.
A key advantage for single-tooth gaps: healthy neighboring teeth generally don't need to be ground down for a bridge.
